I know some have been critical of him (ed the cat) but I think this guy has all the tools to be a great coach. I think he should coach our boys. I think he
has the respect of the guys even if its tough love this guy is a great coach and deserves a shot. Ed the cat is wrong in his assesment of the coach the guys
is top flight!!!!

Sorry, but Cimmer has got to go. If the rumours are true about Mav retiring at the end of the year, the new Coach/GM should be from outside the present
organization and bring his own people with him. A totally rebuilt coaching staff would be a very positive start to turn this thing around and get some banners
in the new rink. Cimmerelo can get a job anywhere in the league now with his experience with the Fronts but too many "Experts" would be here to tell
him how to run the club. I thought Crawford was a strong candidate for Coach/GM and would be a great addition and probably available.

Well I for one have to disagree with having Cimellaro as our new head coach for next year. And I am sure that many people will follow the same position as I
do.From what I have seen with Cimellaro, he does not have respect for many of the guys on the team, and this can easily be verified by other posters. Notably,
whenever it seems that Pete Stevens is on defense, he may see one shift, and even if the team had a good shift, Stevens is always getting chirped at by
Cimellaro, while his other defensive partners never get chirped at. There has also been an occassion where Stevens was standing up watching the action on the
bench and Cimellaro grabbed Stevens by the back of the jersey, and sat him down and started chirping at him. Is this respecting the players? I think not.

I'm a little curious what you're basing your opinion that Cimellaro will be a good coach on. As an assistant for Kingston, he's been below average,
at best. He's in charge of the defense and powerplay (from what I hear, correct me on this if it's inaccurate), and where do we rank in both categories
this year? Where did we rank under Cassidy in these two categories? And with Hulton? All that time, it was Cimo's job, and we constantly struggled.
I'll agree with others, the new coach/GM (if the unthinkable happens and Mav steps down/is fired) should be someone from outside the organization, and should be someone with a track record of winning. Cimo's track record is of losing. |

you can't make Cimellaro the head coach of this team although he may be a nice guy, his does not have what it takes to be an OHL head coach, at least at this point anyway you think Mav has hit pet favourites, Cimellaro is twice as bad |

I was going to show you the error of your ways BUT I am no w just going to suggest that you have been misled. I know he puts in a lot of time and effort and I know that he could be a good coach maybe BUT bringing him in as coach would be seen as an attempt by springer and Mav to save money and to hell with the fans. It woudl also ( someone help me here ) be like that other thing that stepped in the year Mav realized the players thought he was a joke. (Bignall I believe). The team had a coach that was hard on them and preached practice and Bruce is sitting at home drinking his Timmy's and laughing all the way to the bank. Cimmer's best bet is to quit the Fronts and get an assistant job with a team that can teach him and that he can expand
