Calling it a clean hit or a dirty hit dosen't matter as much as it's a mismatch in terms of experience and physical development. There will be dirty hits after this. Should Liambas have known Fanelli was vulnerable? Yes. But you don't have the time to make those decisions and should you? Next time a guy lines another up for a hit should he be thinking of the consequences. If he hesitates he might find himself getting clocked instead. The speed of the game dosen't allow it.
My point is should these two be in the same league together? As David Branch tries to do whats best for the safety of these kids he need's to answer that question. Should Liambas have been somewhere like the ECHL where he would be inflicting crushing hits on grown men or could Fanelli have used some time in T2 to grow and prepare him for the rigours of playing against the Liambas's of the league? When the Fronts played London I genuinely feared for Seymours safety as the Knights goons ran him repeatedly.
