I feel trades right now will be more a push from a player/agent perspective then from a mgmt perspective. I can not imagine being a player and not getting a chance to develop because a group of players have been deemed untouchable, un-sittable and un-repremandable(not sure thats a word)! I cannot imagine there have not already been some requests for trades? I don't see any changes in the status-quo of lines, speciality teams etc! At minimum if I'm one of these kids ,,i need to know if according to the ice time Kingston doles out to me I'm not qualified to play this game at these levels and the only way I can find that out is to go somewhere else and see if that is a true evaluation of my game at this level. Maybe, that kid is not being given the chances to improve,develop and even make a mistake or two! Comments,,,TheGrip!

Whether that is happening or not is anybody's guess. It is only speculation on anybody's part that is looking from the outside in. The only way to find out is to have reliable inside information. Like all clubs Kingston sits players and yes some are getting more ice time then others deserved or not. I also think the kids are pretty smart and normally would not come right out and ask for a trade unless things are really bad for them. Real trading action as we all know happens after Christmas when clubs are jockeying for playoff position and this is definitely management driven. Do I expect some more changes? yes, as it stands Kingston still has room for another OA, most clubs are still in transition and as I mention will fine tune later in the year. That is when pressure from these clubs is exerted to get quality players to bolster the playoff run lineups. It always comes down to who is buying and who is selling, nothing is predictable. It's hockey time - Keep your head up .

Who Fronts should trade? Durocher not at all impressed with his play, he is 6'4 and rarely physical with no real offensive numbers Kruzik he has been steady but no better or worse than any of the other D that will be around for a few years. Give them his shifts and develop them. Get us a true goal scorer. There must be an OA out there and we have the room. Who should ask for a trade? Kennedy he was a first rounder in 07, this is his 3rd team and still not getting regular ice time. One more fresh start might be the ticket. Sarault he was a second rounder in 08 who at the beginning of the year looked like their golden boy but has been pushed down the bench for Froats and Durocher, he needs a trade and some ice time. Cullen 2 starts and his 3rd given to a draft pick to get him in a game in Oshawa. He needs to go somewhere where hes sees at minimum 25% of the games

Yet another young man who for whatever reason, is not able to survive the hockey purgatory that is the Kingston Springers. This club is so dysfunctional that if it is able to draft talent, can't develop it or if it acquires talent allows it to wither on the vine....or in a lot of instances, just can't recognise talent in the first place and drafts people that it shouldn't or trades for players that other teams have given up on as a lost cause. Just which category Kennedy falls into doesn't really matter ...(although perhaps not to Colt!) as the end result is the same. Good luck to you Colt wherever you end up.

Mort would look good in black or blue white and red in either Oshawa or Ottawa. Possibly Gubrandson but I doubt it they have not ruined him enough Doherty is another player that could be traded. Before stabbing me look back folks.

Mort would look good in an Oshawa jersey. He has played really well the 9 games in Gudbranson's absense but I am sure they will start sitting him again with Seymour. Doherty and Lashoff have been horrible but that does seem to affect their ice. Mort is steady and defensive, is that not why we drafted him? Cullen was wonderful yesterday in Mississauga, give the kid a chance. I understand the 75-25 split with Besky that would be reasonable but not 2? starts in 21 games. That is not playoff hockey it is regular season. Why did we trade for him with Niagara? Farrell is another player to discuss. He had good success at the begininning of the season. Was that a hangover from all the good things that happened with the Vees, has the hangover worn off? He was a healthy scratch yesterday. If that keeps up he will be asking to return to the Vees to be a hero again and get some ice time. I did not see young Broek on the ice yesterday except to serve a penalty for a misconduct. Poor kid. No development for him.
