Season Ticket Holder

DJ Smith is a screamer for sure but his players respond to his tactics because he knows when to cool it with his guys. McFarland's problem is that he makes his players feel as if nothing they do is good enough, they work their hardest and they are still ripped on to do more. The reason why Mack Lemmon left was because he was the hardest working player on the team in practice and in games and he felt like no matter how hard he pushed he could not please the coach and got tired of verbal garbage being thrown at him. I am hearing a lot of the same thing from many other players on this team, nothing is ever good enough for this coach and its a terrible feeling as a player when you know you are giving it your all and you still get %@%% on by coach. Make no mistake, these players are at an age where a coach needs to know how to manage the group by demanding authority but also having the team believe in what your saying and want to play for you. McFarland has pushed these players to the point that they cant take his constant abuse and be successful. As for Gilmour, he was lied to by someone when he was hiring because McFarland is not the kind of coach he wanted nor has turned into the coach he wanted. Gilmour wanted to get away from an overly vocal coach on the bench. Mark my words he is not happy with how McFarland has turned out and either he or McFarland will be gone in the near future and for the sake of the team we better hope it's the coach.
