Another great piece of work from Kingston management. Lists can go on and on.

If you want to gag some more, just compare what the Soo got back from Oshawa in the Lindros deal.

Result........................... the Soo under Ted Nolan go to 2 straight M Cups and won it the second time.

Kingston can't even win a playoff round after their infamous deal.............................................

Hacker are you saying you think Max Domi is as good as Eric Lindros???

Well Uncle Buck, you know as well as I it's hard to compare players from different eras. When Eric played, the OHL was a much higher scoring league, Eric had a point per game average of over 2 points per game which is very impressive. However if you look at scoring impact, Domi factored in 36% of his team's scoring while Eric factored in 26%. Eric lead his team once in scoring while Domi lead his team twice and he currently leads his team even after missing some time while at Phoenix's training camp. Domi won 2 M Cups while Eric won just once. Eric had a huge size advantage over Domi, while Domi is faster. Eric had a pretty good NHL career but could have been better if he didn't have so many concussions, while the jury is obviously still out on Domi regarding an NHL career.

Having said that I would have to say that Lindros would be considered the better player especially when he went first over all to the Soo, while I believe Domi went 8th.

Answer me this Uncle Buck, did Oshawa over pay??????????????  or did Kingston not get enough in return, certainly Kingston did not properly convert the picks they received into usable assets

Hacker I will have to agree to disagree with you on who was a better player in any era....Lindros won a WJC Gold medal before he even played in the OHL , he played in 3 WJC tourneys winning twice Domi has never made the team. You say Lindros led his team in scoring, he led the whole league ..He actually won a Memorial Cup, Domi has not won one yet despite what you say...To compare the 2 is laughable in my opinion as Lindros was arguably one of the best Jrs ever..As for your question I think Oshawa and Kingston both got good value...Oshawa won a Memorial Cup with Lindros getting 36 points in 17 playoff games after the trade...We both agree that Gilmour did not handle the assets he got properly,I think he thought he had a better team then he had last year and threw some of those assets away for instant success.
