Well Uncle Buck, you know as well as I it's hard to compare players from different eras. When Eric played, the OHL was a much higher scoring league, Eric had a point per game average of over 2 points per game which is very impressive. However if you look at scoring impact, Domi factored in 36% of his team's scoring while Eric factored in 26%. Eric lead his team once in scoring while Domi lead his team twice and he currently leads his team even after missing some time while at Phoenix's training camp. Domi won 2 M Cups while Eric won just once. Eric had a huge size advantage over Domi, while Domi is faster. Eric had a pretty good NHL career but could have been better if he didn't have so many concussions, while the jury is obviously still out on Domi regarding an NHL career.
Having said that I would have to say that Lindros would be considered the better player especially when he went first over all to the Soo, while I believe Domi went 8th.
Answer me this Uncle Buck, did Oshawa over pay?????????????? or did Kingston not get enough in return, certainly Kingston did not properly convert the picks they received into usable assets
